Make History at the Tiree Music Festival

Much debate has gathered over the years regarding the longest ever Strip the Willow...

It was suggested the Strip the Willow in George Square, Glasgow at Skerryvore's, 'West Coast Life' album launch in 2005 lasted more than 45 minutes....

With such a famous dancing culture on the Island of Tiree, they felt there was no better place than this beautiful island to set the official record for the longest Strip the Willow to date, by aiming to dance a 60 minute Orcadian Strip the Willow at 2011's Tiree Music Festival! So sign up and be part of history at TMF 2011 for the TMF 60 minute Strip the Willow!!

Anyone who wishes to join all those taking part must be registered at the TMF office at An Talla before 3pm on Sunday 24th July.

There is a fabulous line-up of events this year and tickets are just about sold out again so if you want tickets - please don't delay, get them today!!   Please see the TMF website for further information ~
