Highland Dancing in Paris!
04 November 2011
The Isle of Barra's Barra MAC Dance School are delighted to be
attending the International Festival of Highland Dance which is
being held in Disneyland Paris next week. There will be 354 dancers
from all over the world participating at the festival. The
community will be able to view the choreography piece prepared for
the International Festival at their Evening of Christmas Dance on
Sunday 18th December in Castlebay School. New members are
always welcome and no previous highland dancing experience is
necessary. An exciting new class is starting for children aged over
2½, with the focus on "movement to music" and "tip-toes/pointy
toes". The children's weekly classes have already started, but
new registration may be done at anytime throughout the term. For
any information on Barra MAC Dance School and all class
registration, please contact Sineag MacArthur, phone: 01871
