Over the last twelve months we listed around 700 events,
exhibitions, gatherings and activities which took place on our
inhabited islands. All drew on the drive, skills and talent of
people living on the islands and elsewhere and provided much
more than a glimpse of island culture and heritage. This promotion
of events continues into the Year of Creative Scotland

search from any page on the website - see just how many music
events are planned in Orkney, say in June, narrow it down to a
single island or get really ambitious and seek out all the heritage
projects to visit in one fabulous island hopping holiday. You can
